New Scholar Enrollment
Enrollment Steps
1. Call Enroll Indy at 317-426-3234 to enroll or visit Link
Once you claim your seat, you will receive an email to complete the
power school registration. (You must complete this step so your
application is in the system)
2. Complete the registration packet provided by the PATH school. ( You can visit the
school to complete registration or call the school and ask to be emailed the
forms)
Documentation necessary for enrollment includes:

Birth Certificate

Immunization Records
-
Proof of Residency in Zone 1 (examples: current utility bill, lease agreement,closing paperwork with parent name. A driver’s license is not acceptable as proofof residency)

Custody Papers (if applicable)

Completed Enrollment forms

Copy of IEP (if applicable)
You can attach electronic copies to the registration link . If you are not able to attach
them at that time, you can deliver them in person to the registrar or email them to
spantoja@thepathschool.org

Is there a dress code?
Yes. All scholars are required to wear uniforms.
Bottoms: Black or khaki
Tops: Grade-level shirts
o Kindergarten–2nd Grade: Green shirts with The PATH School logo.
o 3rd–5th Grade: Gray shirts with The PATH School logo.
o Middle School: Black shirts with The PATH School logo.

What are the school hours?
A regular school day is from 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Is transportation provided?
Yes, we provide transportation to all zone 1 scholars based on the following guidelines.
All elementary school scholars who reside more than 1 mile from The PATH
School.
All middle school scholars who reside more than 1.25 miles from The PATH
School.
What are IPS’ school zones?
IPS has four zones that determine a student’s eligibility for bus service based on their
residence. Please refer to the RBS School Zones Map to review the zone map.
What classifies my child as a walker?
A scholar is classified as a walker if they meet the following conditions:

For grades K-5: the scholar who lives 1 mile or less from their school

For grades 6-8: the scholar who lives 1.25 miles or less from their school
In rare situations where the distance ends in the middle of a block, the boundary will
extend to the end of that block to avoid confusion for families (e.g., apartment
complexes).
What if my child needs transportation due to health concerns?
If you need a bus due to medical condition, please bring an up-to-date doctor's note to
the office. A new medical note is necessary every new school year.
Can I have a school tour?
Yes, call the office on 317-226-4267 to schedule a tour with our PATHWAYs department.
Do you offer after-school programs?
Yes, we offer clubs, tutoring, sports, and after-school care (limited spots).
